LAGOS — The Lagos State chapter of Patriots Arise for Tinubu has held a meeting of its State Executive Committee (Exco), with a call on members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held in Lagos, brought together members of the organisation’s state executive to deliberate on strategies for strengthening the group’s presence across the state and mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The State Coordinator, Hon. Dr. Oguntoyinbo Olumide Hassan (MCPA), urged members to demonstrate commitment to the organisation’s objectives by engaging communities, reaching out to eligible voters and promoting what the group describes as the administration’s record of competence.
The meeting was held under the banner of “Patriots Arise for Tinubu — Support Proven Competence for B.A.T.”, reflecting the group’s stated position in support of President Tinubu.
Addressing members, Oguntoyinbo emphasised the importance of organised mobilisation, effective communication and sustained engagement with the electorate as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections gather momentum.
He called on members to take the organisation’s message beyond meetings and into their respective communities, encouraging constructive engagement with residents and eligible voters.
According to the State Coordinator, the task before members is to build a stronger grassroots network capable of communicating the group’s message and encouraging electoral participation.
He also stressed the need for unity, discipline and coordination among members to ensure that the organisation’s activities across Lagos State are properly aligned with its objectives.
The meeting provided an opportunity for executive members to exchange ideas, review organisational priorities and consider practical approaches to expanding the group’s reach ahead of the elections.
Patriots Arise for Tinubu is positioning itself as a platform for supporters of the President, with its Lagos State chapter seeking to strengthen its mobilisation capacity and coordinate members in support of its political objective.
The organisation’s emphasis on “supporting proven competence” forms the central message of its campaign, which its members are expected to communicate through grassroots engagement and voter outreach.
